Diverse Learning Environments

Reggio Emilia: Learning Through Discovery

At Emilia School, the Reggio Emilia philosophy shapes our approach, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a sense of belonging. Our team collaborates with children to explore, play, and discover through personalized learning experiences tailored to their growth and interests.

Second Home Atmosphere

At Star A Kidz, we make the transition from home to school joyful for both parent and child. Our safe, nurturing environment eases worries while fostering growth through play-based learning. With child-friendly spaces, engaging activities, and CCTV monitoring, we ensure a secure and enriching experience where kids can explore, learn, and thrive.

Nurturing Bilingual Minds

At Star A Kidz, we immerse children in English and Chinese, fostering bilingual, biliterate, and culturally aware learners. Through play, songs, and social interaction, kids naturally absorb language. Families can choose between our Single Language Program (English or Chinese) or the Dual Language Program for fluency in both.

Our Approach

Our fundamental guiding principles of our Reggio Emilia-inspired Approach include:

The image of the child as competent and capable: In our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, teachers and children explore, discover, and learn together.

The role of the parent as integral: children, teachers, and parents are embraced as equally important components in the educational life of the child.

Collaboration as essential: parents and teachers work together and value open lines of communication in the educational process.

The environment itself is considered the “third teacher” and environments that allow for exploration and inquiry are considered optimal.

The process of documentation: Documentation promotes open communication between teachers and parents, allows teachers to reflect upon their practice, and affirms to the children that their work and play are highly valued.
