Music

In this course students are encouraged to develop aural training skills, communication skills, and fine motor skills through the use of song, educational exercises, and visual aids. To complement other students’ subjects, music class will encourage early brain development, cognitive skills, and self-expression. This course is designed to build coordination, dexterity, patience, creativity, tone, rhythm, memory, focus, and confidence. We will sing, dance, laugh, and most importantly, have fun!

Fitness

Our Animate and Enunciate all movements to give the children a better idea of what you are expecting. These activities are completed as an obstacle course in what we call “An Adventure”. This allows all participants to watch another be successful/fail and attempt to try again. Star A Kidz creates a secure, safe and confident environment to welcome all lessons to be learned. Many different types of equipment are used to complete these Adventures and fulfill the enjoyment and excitement of the participants from infant, toddler to preschool ages.

Art

In this class, our little learners will be

Create original artwork.
Identify and discuss objects in the room, including images in books.
Create artwork by following step-by-step instructions.

S.T.E.M

Science encourages investigation and answering questions, often involving experimentation.
Technology refers to using simple tools like crayons and rulers, as well as more complex ones like microscopes and computers.
Engineering refers to recognizing problems and testing solutions.
Arts encourage creativity and allow children to illustrate concepts they are learning.
Mathematics deals with numbers, but also patterns, shapes, organizational skills and much more.

Drama

Our Drama program is a great introductory drama experience that allows children to develop speaking skills and creative expression. New drama activities and scenes each class allow children to gain confidence while having lots of fun.
